Paul Freeman started Boneyard Cycles five years ago, and he opened his shop on Centerville Road in Anderson, S.C., last year.
“I’ve been riding motorcycles as long as I can remember,” Freeman said. “I was four years old, when I had my first Yamaha.”
Born in Anderson County and raised in Oconee, Paul had been working in the private-label fruit juice industry for several years in the Greer area before he decided to strike out on his own with motorcycles. It was an easy transition for Paul because most of his friends worked with motorcycles, and he was very familiar with the retail and maintenance aspects of the business.
“I moved back here to start this up,” Paul said.
Today, Boneyard Cycles specializes in selling bikes and parts to the public at wholesale prices, and general and heavy maintenance.
“I travel all over the country to get these deals,” Paul said.
Road-going cruisers, dirt bikes, sport bikes, ATV’s – Boneyard has them all. “We sell more than 250 units a year,” Paul said.
Paul also has a shop full of highly trained associates ready to keep your bike performing at its best – whether you bought your bike at Boneyard or somewhere else.
Paul’s cousin, Larry Floyd, is the business’ Web master and Title clerk. Boneyard also has the "world-renowned" Rusty Johnson turning wrenches and tuning to perfection in the back! Mr. Johnson has broken a few world speed records, now races ATV's, and holds a high reputation as a motorcycle mechanic.
Come by the shop on Centerville Road, and you will find Paul and the staff ready to answer questions about his full inventory of bikes or any issues you may be having with your own bike.
